That’s me: Katja – and I love beautiful things!
My family and I live with our dog in beautiful Rheda-Wiedenbrück, in rather rural East Westphalia.
My motto is “decoration makes life more beautiful”. In order to make our house with garden a home, I like to rummage through furniture stores for special accessories, implement great DIY ideas and decorate as much as I can! I also like to sit down at the sewing machine, design with concrete or work with natural materials – a really creative mind.
In 2020 I took part in a pottery course – and spontaneously fell in love! Working creatively with clay and creating something with my own hands has been the perfect balance to my office job ever since. I am simply fascinated by the versatility of the material and am always enthusiastic about trying out new ideas!
My ceramic works are designed to bring joy to the people who own them and to enrich the places where they are found – whether indoors or outdoors, useful or decorative! There are always unique pieces that I make by hand. And my creativity and my love for the material clay flow into each of my pieces…
